Episode 69a: Critiquing Comics without Critical Thinking
I’m still recovering from having ten six year old girls in my house for a sleep-over with my daughter last night, so this is a quick sort of preamble to what I hope the rest of the episode will be about - but your feedback will be greatly influential in the direction the 69b episode will take. Listen to this and then give me your opinion on how best to address the following:
- Rudeness versus Civility on Message Boards
- Brutal Honesty or tempered opinions when you know a creator will see your review
- Do you judge indy comics on a different scale than Marvel/DC
I come to some conclusions on these topics in this episode, but I look forward to your feedback… it may help me formulate how best to approach some things in upcoming episodes.
